Very nice composition. I almost wait for someone (or something) to come out from the left. The small orange roof top really balance the colors, nice job :)

It is interesting Thomas, because when I was painting this, seagulls would sneak up to my backpack and try and peck away for some food or so they thought. So there was this underlying bird stress going on while I was painting, perhaps the orange roof house was my escape and shelter from the elements, ha! This is a rare square format too for me, I would like to try more, similar to using a classic 3 1/4 medium format camera, composition wise. Maybe this would be a 110mm lens, just a guess.
