An escape to an imaginary forest was in order on this rainy day. This is a small format (5x7 inch) watercolor/gouache study for a possible larger oil painting. Turner, Fragonard and the Dutch School are kept in mind.

Great work! (seems a bit repetitive to say so though). Check out Jeremy Mann at redrabbit7.com. No marketing here, just another great painter that you should see and who should see you...

Very Nice...

Light pouring down from narrow opening in the center of the forest and reflection on the water is extremely dynamic and powerful. The figures top it off. Your use of color is masterful. What a painting! Ideal study for a larger painting. Respect, Jim Kendall Okc.
