A small detail from an imaginative gouache and watercolor painting called 'Turner's Valley'. I captured the process with digital photos showing various stages in creating the image. I will go over these in my upcoming workshop next weekend... looking forward to sharing! 9x12 inches - Fabriano Hotpress watercolor block. Small additions of pastel added.

This is *amazing*. It's as if you've rummaged through my dreams and painted my perfect fantasy landscape, only far, far better than I could ever have visualised it myself. Please post the whole painting up here sometime!

beautiful as always,
is there any chance that you're going to post some photos of the process online?

Yes Heix, next week I will post the whole painting with a series of photos showing early wash block-in to final details. It is interesting in that you can see changes in the image and how editable the medium is for corrections/alterations.
